LandxSea Pops Up! Festival Preview Week at PoP Shop
16–22 August · 54 High Street, Montrose
For one week this August, LandxSea is spilling out of the cinema and onto Montrose High Street.
From 16–22 August, we’re taking over PoP Shop with a lively week of film-inspired workshops, talks, drop-ins and beach activities for children, teenagers and adults. Make a Watership Down zine, animate your own mini-film, compose and record a soundtrack, weave a willow fish, turn driftwood into art, write poetry, learn about open-water swimming, and help create artworks and decorations that will reappear at the festival in September.
Every event connects to a film, theme or gathering in this year’s programme. Think of it as a chance to step inside LandxSea before the cinema doors even open
You don’t need to book a workshop to join us. Drop in, pick up the brand-new festival programme, watch trailers, meet the LandxSea team and discover what’s happening at this year’s festival — including our Schools at the Festival programme, Montrose Beach Dook and ways to get involved.
Workshop places are limited and tickets are subsidised at £5, so early booking is recommended.
PoP Shop is Montrose’s pop-up market, gallery and community space, run by ProMo — a small local volunteer group with a big ambition to bring new energy to the town centre.
