Welcome to Scotland's Environmental Film Festival

More Than Movies. A Movement.

LandxSea is Scotland’s leading platform for films and discussions that spark green ideas and actions.

Each September, the LandxSea Film Festival transforms Montrose into a hub for bold environmental storytelling. Our 3rd annual edition took place 12–14 September 2025 at the Montrose Playhouse — a community-owned, state-of-the-art cinema on Scotland's northeast coast.

But you don't have to wait for September. LandxSea Monthly is our year-round screening strand, bringing festival favourites and timely new films to the big screen.
