Helping turn Montrose into a film festival town!
Each September, Montrose’s shops bring a little LandxSea magic to the streets through our annual Shop Window Competition.
Local businesses are invited to create displays inspired by land and sea, from waves and whales to wildflowers and lighthouses, with plenty of room for imagination. We encourage sustainable materials and clever reuse, alongside festival posters and programmes. It’s free to take part, with a special festival prize for the winning window.

Congratulations, Flair Florist!
Flair Florist scooped the prize for the second year running! Their cheerful octopus, rolling blue waves and abundant greenery brought land and sea together in a wonderfully playful display. Thank you for putting so much imagination and care into your windows!
