Free event. Address the urgent local climate issues impacting Montrose in this interactive event. Featuring Angus and Perthshire Glens MP Dave Doogan and a panel of local business leaders and climate experts, the summit promises to be an engaging and informative discussion.
Highlights include the premiere of Storm Angus Experiences, a crowd-sourced film created by Angus Climate Hub, showcasing personal stories and responses to the devastating winter storms that hit Angus. These storms caused record-breaking floods, tides, and significant damage, bringing the pressing issue of coastal erosion to the forefront of local discussions.
The event provides a platform for the community to engage with their representatives, discuss potential solutions, and share their experiences. It is an essential gathering for those concerned about the future of our coastal communities and the need for immediate climate action.
Immediately following the summit, attendees are invited to stay for the Sea Rising shorts programme, a series of films that explore the themes of coastal erosion, climate change, and rising sea levels.
