See 'Riverwoods' on 16th September
Witness Scotland's rewilding journey in Riverwoods, narrated by Peter Capaldi. This vital film explores the interplay between Atlantic salmon populations and forest ecosystems. Don't miss this stunning film on the big screen followed by our exclusive Q&A session with Peter Cairns, Executive Director of SCOTLAND: The Big Picture.

Immerse Yourself in the Solar-Powered Cinema Caravan
We're thrilled to welcome the unique Moving Images Cinema Caravan to the inaugural LandxSea Film Fest!
Step into this solar-powered cinema caravan, originally from the 1980s and revamped into an 8-seater mobile cinema, to experience a 10-minute programme of short films, all connected to our festival's theme of land and sea.
With full HD, immersive sound and captivating imagery, we aim to offer a micro cinematic experience that sparks ideas and prompts engaging discussions.
Catch the Cinema Caravan on The Mall outside the Montrose Playhouse from 11am-5pm during the Eco Fair on Saturday 16th September. It's a cinematic journey you won't want to miss.
Entrance is free, no ticket required.

Moana - A Family Adventure at the LandxSea Film Fest
Join us for a magical journey across the seas. Bring the whole family and experience the enchanting world of Moana at our special Kid's Club screenings. Sail into the magic and let your hearts sing with Moana's irresistible tunes!
Moana is showing on both Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th at 10:30am at the Montrose Playhouse and tickets are just £3.

Visit the Eco Fair on 16th September
Plans are taking shape for our Eco Fair! Explore local stalls, savour delightful pop-up food and drinks, and connect with community members passionate about environmental sustainability.
Participants include Roamer Coffee, Bruce's Cycle Bothy, Toll House Spirits, Hemp It Up, and Butterflybee's Wellbeing, and more being added.
While at the fair, you can also pop-into the solar-powered cinema caravan or join in family craft activities in the community room at the Montrose Playhouse (more details soon).
This fun event will take place outdoors on The Mall outside the Montrose Playhouse from 10:00am - 5:00pm.
Entrance is free, no ticket required.
