This award-winning documentary follows the dramatic battle between Donald Trump and a small Scottish community as he builds a luxury golf resort on environmentally sensitive land in Aberdeenshire. You've Been Trumped explores the clash between local residents fighting for their land rights and Trump's powerful development interests. This film is a compelling look at environmental justice and community resilience in the face of unchecked corporate power. (Anthony Baxter, UK/USA, 2016, 79 mins. Rated PG.) Watch trailer
The screening will be followed by a live onstage Q&A with director Anthony Baxter and film's participant Suzanne Kelly, a Private Eye journalist and former contributor to the Aberdeen Voice. In 2015, Suzanne started the Trump petition to prevent Donald Trump from entering the UK after his call to ban Muslims from entering the US.
